This integrated approach helps develop proper alignment, strength, flexibility, stamina, and breath awareness while encouraging mindful movement.
Engage in daily breathwork and meditation to balance prana and quiet the mind. Explore techniques such as Nadi Shodhana, Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, Ujjayi, and Bhramari, along with breath awareness meditation, mantra meditation, Trataka, and silence practices.
Explore traditional yoga philosophy to support conscious practice and clear teaching. It introduces how yoga philosophy fits into daily life through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the paths of action, devotion, and awareness from the Bhagavad Gita, and key ideas such as Pancha Kosha, Prana, Nadis, and Chakras.
Yoga is a holistic science that supports the management of stress and anxiety; alongside this, therapeutic yoga for back pain and joint health is a crucial component of yoga teacher training.
Moreover, yoga rectifies digestive and lifestyle-related imbalances and can enhance overall well-being by incorporating preventive and restorative practices.
Students learn essential alignment techniques for yoga, with a strong focus on injury prevention, mindful movement, and suitable modifications. The training includes verbal and hands-on adjustments (with consent), along with the effective use of props, helping students support different body types and practice with confidence and care.
Techniques such as Gyan, Chin, Chinmaya Mudra, Prana, Apana, Samana Mudra, Shunya, and Apana Vayu Mudra, along with Mula Bandha, Uddiyana Bandha, and Jalandhara Bandha, are integral to deepening Pranayama and meditation.
This comprehensive yoga teacher training focuses on structuring Hatha, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa classes while enhancing your cueing, voice modulation, and presence. You will be taught to effectively observe and adjust students, along with understanding the ethics and responsibility involved in sharing yoga.
Classical yogic purification practices include Jala Neti, Kapalabhati as a cleansing kriya, and Trataka. A basic understanding of Dhauti is also crucial for aspiring yoga instructors. It's important to be aware of the benefits, precautions, and contraindications associated with these techniques.
This course includes an in-depth understanding of the skeletal and muscular system, joint mechanics, and safe movement techniques. Additionally, we explore the endocrine system's role in yogic balance, the respiratory system and breath mechanics, and the nervous system's relaxation response.
